Taking initiative for our own problems is the first step towards building resilient community and that’s the core of this programme
When faced with a problem, we can either wait for a solution from outside or make our own. This programme is built on the international Quality Circle movement. Students identify, analyse and solve challenges in their surroundings using simple thinking tools. These tools can be used to reduce faulty parts in a factory, or revamp a dirty classroom. Students learn to solve the problems, no matter how big or small.
For this we run a series of workshops with kids, where our volunteers help kids identify a problem they want to solve, understand the problem, brainstorm and test solutions and finally implement the best solution and learn from their experience. To see this in action, see how these students transformed their classroom.
