“Strong Paper”

Have you ever seen a shell of scallop and noticed its design. As a mechanical designer you may be able to map it one of the fundamental design concept in packing boxes. You guess it right, I am talking about corrugated boxes. How close we are to our nature and designs are generally robust is its bases are taken from nature.

You guess it right, I am talking about corrugated boxes. How close we are to our nature and designs are generally robust is its bases are taken from nature. You might be wondering why I am talking about it today. Recalling my old diaries of pictures, it’s almost five years back we (team secure) had first science show at celebration mall. I have never been on stage in life and it was same for many of us who were going to experience on stage — first time in life. It was never easy for us. Date was fixed for the show and we had lots of questions in mind — full of negative questions. What if couldn’t speak on stage or what if crowd doesn’t turn up……etcetc…. In all negative questions our excitement of show on stage was full of positive energy. Positive energy overtook our negative thoughts and we had wonderful response in our first show. (After that we had almost ten more shows).

Our first experiment demonstration to kids was of strong paper. Demonstration was how to make paper strong to withstand load of two steel glasses. lfids managed to do and it was surprise!!!!!

Here are few glimpse from memories of first show
