Building resilient communities of lifelong learners
From exploring art and science around the world, to planting trees, to reading old manuscripts, we’re excited about all kinds of learning, and we love sharing that excitement. These learnings will make us come close to the community of our vision.
We spread our love for learning through structured volunteering programmes in three areas:
Our work in action
The world faces all kinds of challenges; the climate change, poverty, educational inequity, just to name a few. These can’t be solved by governments, businesses, or the social sector alone. We as individuals must step up and take charge. We must realise that each citizen has a role to play, and as we contribute, we grow and benefit. Even if we fail, we learn, we stand again which is the greatest evidence of resilient behaviour. It takes a village to raise a child, to nurture a city and or to build a future and this reflects our inter-dependence on each other. So, to ensure that we grow, we need resilient communities of lifelong learners.
Resilient communities are formed through doing hard things and sharing those stories. So, whether planting trees, or teaching debating, we create structured volunteering opportunities. Volunteers experiment, connect, reflect on their actions and impact. They learn to learn, and to lean on each other.
