The programme aims to help children understand and apply processes or principals. This enables them to keep learning and pushing their abilities.
To be excellent at anything, we must keep learning and pushing our abilities. In our factory visits, we explore how a world-class manufacturing business achieves this. We focus strongly on the ideas of process design and incremental improvement.
Students visit the factory, understand how it works and then use a simulation to see how they can apply the principles of process design in their own life. It also broadens their horizons of the kinds of roles they can aspire to.
Students experience how anyone can attain excellence if they are willing to pay attention to details and keep improving, one step at a time.
We choose how high our bar is, and when we raise our bar of excellence, we raise it for those around us. Raising this bar means we must keep pushing from each success to further learning.
