What we’ve done so far

Dharohar was born and registered as a trust under Rajasthan Public Trust Act 1959 in 2009. The purpose: working in the field of education, environment, and preserving our heritage.

Education, we wanted to support teachers and schools in their goals of delivering a well-rounded education to their students so that they could excel. With this in mind, we designed activities so that students step out of the classroom and their curriculum and engage in our activities. Through this engagement, we hope they will increase their desire to learn. 10 lakh vriksh has volunteering, life-long learning, and building connections at its foundation. Through the planting and nurturing 1 million trees by the people of Udaipur we hope to build communities for the people of Udaipur.

Sanskriti, in this project we are digitising Sanskrit manuscripts that hold ancient knowledge and wisdom on many topics. Many are in a very delicate condition and difficult to handle. There is no comprehensive catalogue of these so that the knowledge in them can be accessed by scholars.
